Q: How did being an Israeli emissary in Milwaukee impact your life and your career path?

A: The Shlichut to Milwaukee was my second Shlichut. 1971 – 1974, I was Shaliach in Rhodesia, (Zimbabwe). At the end of my Shlichut in Milwaukee I worked at the Israel Government Tourist Office in Jerusalem. In 1985 I was sent by the largest tour company in Israel to establish their operations in the Midwest.

In 1992 I got married to a local woman. 1985 until today I own a tour company named Heavenly International Tours, located in Milwaukee. The main goal of Heavenly International Tours is to send as many Americans to Israel.

I have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren. My oldest grandchild is currently serving in the Israeli Army. The Shlichut in Milwaukee had a major impact on my life and I will always cherish those years of accomplishment.
