The Israel Center disseminates information about Israel, coordinates educational programs for individuals and groups of all ages and is involved in advocacy and fund-raising efforts. Each year, the Israel Center brings world-class performing and visual artists with cross-cultural appeal to Milwaukee.
Sponsored by the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), the community shlichim (emissaries from Israel) serve as cultural, informational and advocacy liaisons between our community and the people of Israel. The shlichim provide cultural and educational services in the community and a menu of study, travel and volunteer opportunities in Israel.
