Elsie Crawford

As Partnergship2Gether coordinator, Elsie Crawford is responsible for managing the Milwaukee Jewish Federation’s relationship and programming with Sovev Kinneret, our partner region in Israel. Elsie is a native of the Netherlands where she earned a degree in Spanish-Dutch translation/interpretation from Hogeschool INHolland The Hague. Prior to immigrating to the United States seven years ago, Elsie worked for the Dutch Library Association co-developing literacy programs to new immigrants and individuals with cognitive disabilities. She also worked as a lobbyist with the European Commission on Culture on legislation for European libraries, documentation centers and universities and, for eleven years, at the Israeli Embassy in the Hague. She is fluent in Dutch, English, French, Spanish, Hebrew and German.
