Join the Jewish community’s response to disaster in Houston and Ecuador

The Jewish community is responding to natural disasters in Houston and Ecuador. Hundreds have been killed and thousands injured in Ecuador following a powerful earthquake. And, for the second time this year, Houston has been devastated by catastrophic flooding. Jews are responding to the imperative of tikkun olam (repairing the world) in its figurative and literal meaning by donating to relief funds. You can join the response.

Jewish Federations of North America has started a Houston Flood Relief Fund that supports the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston and its partners as they work to meet urgent needs. One hundred percent of your donation to will go to the Houston Flood Relief Fund. Give to the Houston Flood Relief Fund.

The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, a partner of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, is raising funds to assist with medical care and supplies and water purification in cooperation with the Jewish community of Ecuador. Support JDC’s efforts in Ecuador.
