Q: How did being an Israeli emissary in Milwaukee impact your life and career path?

A: The Shlichut completely changed our life and opened new horizons to our family and career. We arrived in Milwaukee as Zionist Israelis and left as Jews who believe in global Jewish presence and respects the values and beauty of the Milwaukee Jewish community.

Q: What are you doing now?

A: As a direct result of the time spent in Milwaukee, Nir went to Rabbinical School, and now he serves as a congregational rabbi of Kehillat Yozma in Modi’in, Israel.

Q: What are your fondest memories of your time in Milwaukee?

A: The most valuable memories of our time in Milwaukee are the lifelong friendships, encounters and special connections we made.
