Director, Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC)

Are you passionate about coalition building? Want to engage a diverse spectrum of stakeholders around issues of Jewish and broader communal concern? We are looking for a visionary, collaborative leader to head up our community relations and public affairs activities as the next Director of our Jewish Community Relations Council.

The Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council will provide professional leadership in assuming responsibility for the Federation’s community relations and public affairs activities in the Milwaukee Jewish community.  The Director will work in cooperation with the JCRC Board to determine the priorities for the local Jewish community relations agenda, and will oversee the core work of the JCRC, which includes issues related to Israel advocacy and education, antisemitism, government relations, domestic policy issues, social and economic justice, and interfaith relations. The Director reports to the Vice President of Outreach and Israel and Overseas and works with the JCRC volunteer leaders. In addition, the Director of the JCRC will serve as a resource to media, government officials and Jewish and non-Jewish community leaders on matters relating to Israel and the Jewish community in conjunction with the Federation’s CEO.

Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a super-organized assistant to provide marketing and administrative support to a busy marketing department. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with technologies like email marketing platforms, content management systems, and mobile payment platforms; is an expert at PowerPoint and Word; and has a sharp eye for typos. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including assisting with events and contributing content to a statewide newspaper. You’ll also keep our department running smoothly by providing administrative support. Best of all, you’ll help change lives here in Milwaukee and around the world.
