Beit Olamim has two distinct and equally beautiful and meaningful areas for burial: Sha’ar HaRachamin (Gates of Compassion), which requires those who are buried to be Jewish, as defined in the rules and regulations. This section does not permit burial of cremains. Sha’ar Shalom (Gates of Peace), which requires those who are buried to have been born Jewish, converted to Judaism, or a close relative of a Jewish person who was buried or expects to be buried here.
