Austin Ramirez, Milwaukee Business Leader Panelist

Austin Ramirez is the President and CEO of HUSCO International, a global engineering and manufacturing company that provides hydraulic components for automotive and off-highway applications. Since assuming the role of CEO in 2011, Ramirez has championed Husco’s expansion into advanced fuel-saving technologies resulting is a doubling of global sales. He is an active citizen of Milwaukee with a passion for urban education.

Ramirez sits on a number of education-focused boards including Teach for America, the Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCA and the United Performing Arts Fund. He is also director of the Greater Milwaukee Committee, Metropolitan Milwaukee Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers. He was recognized at the Wisconsin Business Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for his dedication to improving Milwaukee.
