Milwaukee Jewish Federation >> Jenny Tasse
Jenny Tasse is the Director of the Milwaukee Jewish Community Relations Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. The mission of the JCRC is to speak as the representative of the Jewish community on issues of public affairs and public policy by convening and mobilizing the Jewish community through education, advocacy, social justice and support for Israel. Central to the organization is monitoring, fighting, and responding to antisemitic activity and promoting tolerance. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee, Advisory Committee of We Are Many United Against Hate, and the Lux Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies at Sacred Heart School of Theology.
Jenny’s experience in advocacy stems from her commitment to tzedek or justice.
This has led her to serve in multiple development roles from a Fundraising Director of a statewide campaign to most recently as a key member of the Development team at the United Community Center. There, she helped broaden community involvement and secured significant grants in support of the development of an early learning facility. Before returning to Milwaukee, Jenny worked to expand local voter access, including a bipartisan effort to ensure voter identifications were accessible to those who faced barriers.
Jenny received comprehensive honors from the University of Wisconsin Madison upon completion of her B.A. in Political Science and Education Policy. Jenny is a graduate of the Milwaukee Jewish Day School and proud to be serving the community that raised her. Jenny is an amateur backpacker and enjoys pursuing a minimal waste lifestyle.
