College Scholarships

The Jewish Community Foundation of Milwaukee’s College Scholarship program began with the establishment of the Harry Hecht Family Memorial College Scholarship Fund in 1996, and today continues to honor Harry Hecht’s generosity and that of other donors by awarding scholarships from it, the Evelyn & Ben Breitman Education Endowment Fund, and the newly established Marcus & Rita Wohlfeiler Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Scholarships are awarded to Jewish high school seniors to help fund their college freshman year. The selection process is based on financial need, academic performance, and community service. There is one single application process to be considered eligible for scholarships from the above-named funds. Applicants must be residents of the Milwaukee metropolitan area.

Applications are now closed.
