In 2021-2022, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation will host an array of signature appreciation events and community programs, including:

Economic Forum

Virtual: June 15, 2021 | Noon-1 pm
In-Person: Late Fall 2021
Expected in-person attendance: 650 guests

The Economic Forum is a premiere networking event with top Milwaukee business leaders convened in support of the Jewish community while exploring relevant issues of importance to the economic success of our city and region. It is an effort to support our business community and to help Milwaukee thrive. For seven consecutive years the Economic Forum has drawn a sell out crowd of 650 guests and over 50 corporate sponsors. The Milwaukee Business Journal notes that “The Forum always draws a VIP crowd” and attracts the “who’s who of the local business community.”

Milwaukee Jewish Federation Annual Meeting

August 2021 (expected to be an in-person outside event)
Expected attendance: 200-250 guests

The most active community volunteers and philanthropists attend our annual meeting to celebrate the successes of the past year and to hear about the vision for the coming year. Includes awards and honoring outgoing/incoming board members.

Major Donor Appreciation Event

October 2021
Expected attendance: 150-200 guests

This exclusive event gathers all our top donors to hear from a keynote speaker on topical causes, to celebrate past initiatives and to share our vision for the future. Exclusive for donors who contribute $10,000+ to the Annual Campaign. Our last keynote speaker was former New York Times journalist and award-winning author Bari Weiss.

Lion of Judah & Pomegranate Society Luncheon

November 2021
Expected attendance: 80-120

This annual society luncheon features a keynote speaker of topical significance for women who give a minimum of $1,800-$5,000+ to our Annual Campaign.

Financial Advisor’s Seminar

Fall 2021/Winter 2022
Expected attendance: 100-150

This annual educational event for all local financial advisors is hosted by our Jewish Community Foundation in partnership with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and Waukesha Community Foundation. Seminars are held on relevant tax, legal and estate -planning topics for an audience of professional advisors.

Edie Adelman Political Awareness Annual Lecture Series

Spring 2022
Expected attendance: 150-200 guests

This non-partisan lecture series educates the community on matters of politics, government and world affairs by bringing in national and international speakers.

Yamim

Spring 2022
Expected attendance: 500-750 each day

These three annual events — Holocaust Remembrance Day, Israel’s Day of Remembrance, and Israeli Independence Day-Walk for Israel — are the largest commemorations and celebrations of its kind in Wisconsin.

Women’s Philanthropy Annual Meeting

June 2022
Expected attendance: 125-175

This annual event celebrates the power of women, who account for one-third of all Annual Campaign dollars raised. Includes a topical keynote speaker, awards and honoring outgoing/incoming board members.

Affinity Groups Networking Events

  • Hot topic programs throughout the year with great networking opportunities to a highly targeted demographic.
  • Expected attendance: 18-100 guests
  • Cardozo Society: Members of the legal profession who give a minimum of $1,800 to our Annual Campaign.
  • Maimonides Society: Medical and healing arts professionals who give a minimum of $1,800 to our Annual Campaign.
  • NextGen: This group fosters community engagement for younger generations (21-45) through events focused on mentorship, leadership and development, volunteerism, and philanthropy.
