The Milwaukee Jewish Federation supports a strong Jewish community through the development of financial resources. Our Annual Campaign helps fund today’s needs, while our Jewish Community Foundation helps establish financial security for the future. In total, the Federation delivered $19 million in financial support for our community.
Annual Campaign: Last year, our generous community donated $6 million to support the operations of ten local partner agencies, seven Federation programs and services, as well as national agencies serving Jews in Israel and in 70 other countries around the globe. Jewish Community Foundation: As the central address for philanthropic giving in the Milwaukee Jewish community, the Jewish Community Foundation has helped hundreds of individuals and families achieve their philanthropic goals through charitable and planned giving. Teen Philanthropy: The Milwaukee Jewish Teen Philanthropy Board is a community-wide program that engages Jewish teens in a communal giving and learning effort to achieve our goal of Tikkun Olam, “repairing the world”. A diverse group of Jewish students in high school from the greater Milwaukee area attend monthly sessions centered around grant making, non-profit functions, and the philanthropic model.
