Tom Oechler

Tom began his career as a CPA and an auditor with what is now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers, eventually becoming a manager in the Milwaukee office, serving a variety of clients with a focus on the financial services industry. Tom was the corporate controller for Lutheran Social Services from 2001 to 2011, where he led the accounting and finance function of one of Wisconsin’s largest social service organizations. Prior to joining MJF, Tom was the Chief Financial Officer of Indian Community School, a private school serving Native American youth in southeastern Wisconsin where Tom was responsible for oversight of all aspects of the organization’s accounting, finance, facilities management and other business operations.

Tom holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities and an MS in Accounting and MBA from Northeastern University. 

Tom lives in Shorewood with his wife, Jill, and has three children.
