The Synagogue Security Guard Grant (SSGG) program was launched in 2019 to provide financial assistance to synagogues for enhancing security during the High Holidays, Shabbat, religious school, and special events.
Synagogues throughout the state are eligible to receive up to $5,000 in funding. Applications for the SSGG are now available for the 2025-2026 period! Some new changes this year include the funds will be distributed in two installments and grantees are required to submit two brief reports during the grant period. For more information, please see our most recent SSGG Fact Sheet.
